April - May

The Run Down:

Ok, in April we got our Taxes done and God greatly blessed us with a return that allowed us to pay off the rest of our debt! So besides the House we are DEBT FREE! Very excited! Work also became very busy for me due to the Auction Committee starting up again.

In May we had dinner with my cousins, Trina & Ken. It was great reconecting with them and getting to know their daughter Ashley; who loves Sponge Bob. She made a Patrick (starfish) for Patrick, who put it on our fridge.

May 20th was Graduation here at Canyonview for the Equestrian College students. They start things off with riding demonstrations of what they learned throughout their two years and it was cool to see them doing the jumping and working with the cows. Being in the office all day, I usually don't get to see all that they do on the equestrian side of campus.

Work also picked up even more when my co-worker's son finally arrived from Korea (adoption). So I have been doing what I normally do in the office, preping for the Auction, and trying to keep up with all the summer camp regsitrations. Thankfully she won't be taking three months off since he's not a newborn (1 actually) and will be coming back in June. To help me out in the office, Jennifer Price (daughter in-law to one of our founders), has been coming in daily. She's a lot of fun and has also become my walking partner for the Summer.

Young Marrieds had our monthly event at Lakeshore Lanes Miniture Golf Course in Albany. Turned out to just be our friends the Colliers and us. Rachelle of course won; because she's awesome like that, and Patrick got second place. I got last =(. The next day we went out to Detroit Lake to spend the day with our friends, Jason & Anna with Anna's family at their lake house. I kicked Jason's butt in Yahtzee (as you may have seen on facebook). 4 yahtzees in one game!!! Never in my life have I ever gotten more than one until that day. :)

Movies we have seen so far are as follows: Thor, Pirates, and X-men.
We hope to see Super 8 soon.
